Map to Cottonwood Mansion

    East from Simcoe
  • Take Highway #3 through Jarvis for approx. 27 km.

  • A plaque 'Historical Site' identifies the RIGHT turn onto County Road 53.

  • Cottonwood is 5 km. south on the left.


    • South from Hamilton
  • Take Upper James St. to Mount Hope, Highway #6
    • .
  • Continue south on #6, taking the Caledonia by-pass to Hagersville.

  • In Hagersville, turn LEFT at the first traffic light, King St. East. (It becomes Haldimand County Road 20 - Indian Line Road). Continue for 6 km.

  • Just before Cayuga Speedway on the left, a small blue sign with an arrow points right to Cottonwood, then a small green sign points right for Selkirk.

  • Turn RIGHT, Haldimand Rd 53 (Selkirk Town Line).
  • Continue south on Haldimand Rd. 53 crossing Highway #3 and continue for another 5 km.

  • Cottonwood is on the left.


    • From Brantford
  • Take Highway #54 to Caledonia, turn RIGHT on Highway #6 south to Hagersville.

  • Follow above directions from Hagersville.


    • West from Dunnville
  • Take Haldimand County Road 3 (Rainham Road, not Highway 3) west to Selkirk.

  • At the 4-way stop turn RIGHT onto Haldimand Road 53
    • .
  • Go north approx. 3 km to Cottonwood Mansion on the right.

    Hours:

    Tour groups of ten or more are welcome to the Mansion by appointment.
    We can also provide lunch along with a tour.

    If you are planning an individual visit to the Mansion during the summer months, we recommend that you call the Mansion between 10 am - 1 pm on Fridays in July and August, and 1 pm - 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays to be sure that the Mansion is staffed on the day you wish to visit.

    We are an all-volunteer organization and sometimes the person planning to be present is unable to do so and cannot find a replacement.

    Thank you for understanding. Tours of the Mansion are always available during our regularly scheduled events.

    Fridays 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
    Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
